Joe is a Senior Environmental Scientist with over 20 years of experience in Environmental Resource Permitting including wetland mitigation banks, airport related projects, as well as commercial and residential developments at the Southwest Florida Water Management District. He has considerable knowledge of Water Use Permit review and related Environmental Monitoring Plans. Joe is a Florida native and avid outdoorsman. He believes that creating economic opportunities with both public and private sectors is necessary for sustainable economic growth while preserving Florida’s natural habitats and resources for future generations. Joe is responsible for project development, state and federal permit acquisition, monitoring, project construction and management. Joe has had extensive training in wetland delineations, verification of water levels in wetland systems, wetland plant identification, data collection techniques, hydric soils identification. He is a certified Professional Wetland Scientist, FDEP Certified Stormwater Inspector, PADI Open Water Diver, and Certified Professional Soil Scientist.
